SIGNING OF YOUR GUEST BOOK / SIGNATURE PORTRAIT – Your guests will be reminded to sign your guest book and/or signature portrait (allowing you to send thank-you cards to all attending)

INTRODUCTIONS – An introduction of your parents, grandparents and bridal party at the beginning of your reception is a wonderful way to start your celebration.  Your choice of music will set the tone for your reception.  Popular requests include:  Get Ready For This, Rock and Roll Pt. 2 and Sirius or you may prefer something that will create a more elegant mood such as Only Time or Theme from "A Summer Place".  (This is a nice touch if your reception is being videotaped)

YOUR FIRST DANCE - You and your new husband will be introduced as you walk onto the dance floor for your very special first dance, while your photographer and/or videographer captures this precious moment for you.  Music suggestions include:  At Last, I Cross My Heart, Bless the Broken Road

WELCOME - For warmth, it's fairly popular for one or both of your parents; a distinguished guest, or for you and/or your groom to give a welcome to your guests. 

THE TOAST - Typically before the meal, near the end of the meal, or perhaps before the cake cutting, the Best Man or distinguished other is introduced and his/her toast will be heard by all.  (They may use our wireless microphone)

BLESSING - Some couples like having a blessing (challa) performed by a close friend, family member or their officiant.  This would be a good place to include someone special that you did not know would be attending until all your R.S.V.P.'s have been returned

THE MEAL - If you are having a buffet, we will personally escort each table to the buffet, starting with you, your bridal party and your family, followed by your guests - while your choice of music provides the ambiance.  Rat Pack and Smooth Jazz is very popular during the meal as well as during the cocktail hour.

VISIT - We strongly recommend you take the time to acknowledge every guest.  Either between courses of a plated meal or once you've completed your meal.  If you visit each table together, you can introduce each other to family or friends the other may not have met previously.  We recommend you invest 30 seconds to a minute, no longer, visiting each table. Remember, they may still be eating...this will show courtesy yet a personal touch.

THANK-YOU'S - If you feel you haven't had the opportunity to visit or thank everyone for attending, this will allow you the opportunity to thank all your guests at one time.  (Using our wireless microphone will ensure everyone will hear and appreciate your thoughtfulness)

THE PARENTS DANCE – A special song is dedicated for you to dance with your father, and the groom with his mother.  The most requested songs are I Loved Her First, The Way You Look Tonight, Unforgettable, Through The Years, Wind Beneath My Wings and Because You Loved Me. 

THE FAMILY AND BRIDAL PARTY DANCE – A song is played as your family and bridal party (and/or significant others) dance.  The music most commonly used for this is: That's What Friends are For, Can You Feel the Love Tonight and You’ve Got a Friend.

THE GOOD WISH DANCE – Everyone is invited to join you on the dance floor to help wish you and your groom a lifetime of happiness.  Popular songs include:  Unchained Melody, What A Wonderful World, It Had To Be You, At Last, Can't Help Falling in Love and The Way You Look Tonight.

DANCE - An excellent variety of music will be played.  Whatever gets the biggest and best response, will get more play.  We will not play rap/headbanging or any suggestive music.  If you would like Hip-Hop or Rap played, we have radio versions of most songs. (without explicit lyrics)

THE CAKE CUTTING - Your guests will be invited to gather around the cake as you serve each other your very special first piece of cake.  Popular requests include:  L-O-V-E, That's Amore and Chapel of Love.

THE BOUQUET TOSS – All the single women will be invited to line up on one side of the dance floor with you on the other.  On the count of three, you will toss your bouquet over your shoulder to the awaiting arms of a lucky friend or relative.  Most popular requests are:  Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Man! I Feel Like a Woman and It's Raining Men

THE GARTER TOSS - If you wish, you’ll be invited to sit on a chair in the center of the dance floor as all the single men are invited to gather around you.  Here's when your groom s-s-s-slowly removes your garter as a song plays, Popular choices are:  The Stripper, Oh Yeah, Mission Impossible Theme, You Can Leave Your Hat On, Wild Thing, Legs, I Feel Good, I'm Too Sexy, Let's Get It On or You Sexy Thing .  Afterwards, if you choose, the woman who caught the bouquet will be invited to sit on the chair as the man who caught the garter places the garter on her right leg as another song is played.  This sequence of events will be done with tasteful humor. 

THE DOLLAR, MONEY or HONEYMOON DANCE / THE GREETING or ADVICE DANCE (same as Dollar, Money or Honeymoon Dance without the money) - This gives you and your groom an opportunity to dance and chat with each of your guests on a more personal basis.  The Best Man and Maid/Matron of honor or designated others will assist by facilitating when the next guest should join-in.  Each guest should have at least 20-35 seconds to dance and visit with you.

ANNIVERSAY DANCE - A song is dedicated to all the couples...at the conclusion of this dance, the longest married couple is honored (or not).  We do not ask couples to leave the dance floor.  We usually ask couples to begin forming a cirlce around the couples that have been married longing than themselves.  This creates a much warmer and desirable atmosphere...especially for the longest married couple.  A few suggestions are:  Could I Have This Dance, The Anniversary Waltz, Unchained Melody and Put Your Head on My Shoulder.

JUST FOR FUN - Only by your request will you and your guests be invited to join in on a few fun selections such as:  The Electric Slide, Macarena, YMCA, Hot Hot Hot, Conga, Chicken Dance or The Stroll. 

LAST DANCE - Many couples request that their first song also be used as one of their closing songs.  Other commonly used songs are Last Dance, I've Had the Time of My Life, Buona Sera, The Party's Over, New York, New York, Good Riddance and Goodnight Sweetheart.
